I finally got a picture of Aunt Heather, Uncle Sim and cousin Isabella's visit about a month ago.

Amelia loves looking in the mirror.

We finally took our first trip to Fairfield. We had lots of fun with Nanny.

Daddy is already teaching Amelia to use a laptop.

Amelia found her thumb!

Grandma with Amelia on her last day here. She was pretty sad to leave.

Another new hat! This one from Sarah.

Amelia also loves her evening message with mommy and daddy.

Daddy bouncing with Amelia on the yoga ball. This is how we spend every evening to keep our munchkin happy.

They spent a lot of quality time together all week.

Grandma came from San Francisco. She was so happy to finally hold her first granddaughter!

Amelia loves sleeping on someone, especially her daddy.

Trading with daddy. This is how Amelia spends many mornings while mommy gets some sleep.

A gift from Beth and Andy (thank you)!

A new hat from auntie Deb.

Asleep on daddy.

A little drunk after nursing.

A little blurry, but here's Grandpa with Amelia. They had quite a photo shoot with his new camera and tripod.

Amelia's first (and hopefully only) tanning bed. She was pretty yellow for a while.

Grandmaman too.

Grandpapa is overflowing with love.

Amelia's first visitors. Nanny and GranpaBob couldn't wait to meet her!

Daddy with his new daughter.

Amelia with mom the morning she was born.
Amelia was born very early March 11. I went into labor early March 10th (her due date) and 24 hours later, she was born! Our perfect angel weighed 6 lbs 13 ozs and was 19 1/2 inches long. It's now three and a half weeks later and what a blur. I'm amazed at how much I can love such a little person. I'm also amazed at how little sleep I seem to need to function. Every day is different so I never know what to expect. Some days she wants to sleep all day, some days be awake all day and some days nurse all day. Today we took our first road trip to Des Moines and she did great. Hopefully tonight will be as good:)
